I got a Binding Question for y'all ! - Part Two -

I weigh 128 lbs. I'm 5'6. My skis are Atomic Tweaks (163 cm) on which I will change bindings.( I explained here:https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/314736/ )
I'm medium level at park and advanced level everywhere else. I'm looking for a LIGHT, yet reliable binding for not too much $$$ (I don't know quite well the price range of bindings). I'll ski more all-mountain than park (60%/40% ratio if you want a number)

since your lite you could prolly get away with salomon z10s or just go with look or rossi

Get some Salomon Z12's, or perhaps the STH12 if you have the money. Look PX's and Rossis suck balls, no matter what anyone says. Don't get a 10 din binding because you will outgrow it. And don't ever consider Markers, Fischers, Tyrolias, or Atomics.

I wouldn't get a z12 or z10. I saw alot of busted toe pieces. A salomon s912 would be fine or a look/ rossi px12/axial 120. 4frnt deadbolt 412 if their still on sale anywhere.

are you saying salomon is the only legit binding company? or i guess 4frnt too since you didn't mention them. cuz that's just not true. look/rossi are legit. the new markers are dope as hell. and fischers look pretty dope i'm tryin some this season so hopefully those are good too. but yea i mean z12s would be good, and he is right about growing out of a 10 din binding get 12 if you can.

I think the new marker jester/duke probably isnt an option as the din starts at around 7 and they are pretty pricey. The salomon z series is pretty expensive compared with the competition. Tyrolia ld12 may also be an option.

There isnt anything wrong with the px series, fischer x14 or x17, or last years mojos or atomic bindings.

Finally someone mentioned this...Salomon builds the Atomic freeride bindings, so they are the same.

Look at s912, Z12, STH 12, and Deadbolts...the Z12 is the lightest I believe, followed closely by the other 2 Salomon clamps (they make the lightest bindings out there, no question, but the trade off is plenty of plastic and therefore easier to break)...the deadbolts I think are about the same as the Look/Rossi offerings, but avoid PX heels like the plague.

the px heals are fine for atleast 80% of the people on this site there are only a few who actually need a race stock binding. You would be very happy with a pair of look or rossi 12din px heel bindings. I personaly think that salomon has only made 2 good bindings (and neither is right for you). Deadbolts are a fad. Fisher/Tyrola are pretty solid binders as well. Also the only good marker bindings that are worth your time cost a ridiculus amount for what you need in a binding, so i might pass them over.
