hey, so what about backing up substantial amounts of music? im talking way more than a standard hard drive on most desktops. so far the only option ive come across is using double sided dvd's but that is in no way cost effective when youre dealing with this much music. any help would be appreciated.

not 4TB haha, not that much at all. who has that much music anyway? 4,000 gigs? i got around 200 gigs. right now its all on an internal drive that doesnt house the OS, just strictly music and small applications. i would like to back up the whole drive, its half TB.

i didnt even think of putting the drive in an enclosure. thats way cheap. like 30 bucks for a good one?

that sounds real good and is exactly what im looking for, but the price haha. is it easy to switch systems with that? i may be moving to a t3 line with a different computer.
the computer business is going nuts with prices. most places have a 50 dollar bench fee, thats crazy. i can do all the stuff myself and just to replace a fan was 70 bucks. the fan cost 20 bucks and it took me 5 minutes to solder it to the board.

oh dude, im really glad you mentioned that cause im not worried too much about drive failure as much as i am about viruses.
