I bought my SPK boots online (stupid) because I had just had a shop fit me out with new snowboard boots (size 27.0) so I went ahead and ordered 27.0 SPKs. BUT I get the worst shinbang ever. Today I can barely walk, and there was one day when i couldnt actually even get my boot on. Now I'm probably going to get lots of "your riding backseat" comments, but watching videos, seems like everyone lands back all the time. So am I doing them up wrong or what? Should I sell them and have a shop fit me with a completely different boot?

are they too big for you? because thats what generally causes shinbang, but go get fitted from an actual bootfitter and read the how to buy boots sticky

if your sure the shinbang isnt from landing back seat, then have them fitted by a bootfitter. if the problem keeps persisting, you're landing wrong

its kinda funny spk boots are advertised to prevent shin bang but they are the only boot you hear people compaining about shin bang with

mostly cause everyhas them, and... you dont hear the people that have them making threads saying they dont have shinbang anymore.... they hardly even realize
