i just got a newsletter saying that despite early thoughts, the owners have decided to keep fortress open, and upgrade it!! they will be upgrading the very sketchy lifts, and the grungy lodge. i havent heard much about the timeline for the changes and etc, but they are gonna upgrade instead of closing. they will still have their wed-sunday thing for their operation scedual

noooooooooooooooooooooooooo, keep fortress low key. a new lodge means more expensive food, and more people, and the lifts there are already awesome unless they get a real fast one to puut you on top of the frontside fast. that would be the shit. but you can get a huge ass thing of fries for a twoonie now we can expect to pay 5 bucks. i guess it doesn't really matter. thats good awesome that they are staying open. I cryed myself to sleep many a nights thinking about all the hiking I was gonna hafta do to get to the good spots.

but people have to know, so it stays open. the more that know, the more that will come, and the more that will bring the money is better for expansion and better stuff
