Where i work, we have a thing called a mule. It's sick shit. It is basically a 4 wheeler with a regular seat, and a roll cage. We bring it everywhere, and it can even go through water. We have only gotten it stuck once, because the park ranger and i were bored, so we took it along one of the hiking trails. We got it stuck in a foot of mud, and he had to push it out. I would say if you were going to buy a quad, look at a Kawasaki Mule. It has a cargo bed, and a seat that is designed for two, so you can carry tons of people in it.

meh, I'd rather take a Banshee or a mid 80's Suzuki Lt 500 2-stroke. Not great on trails but in the sand they are sick.
