I'm venting.
I'm 18 years old. I go out every friday and saturday night and get hammed. I'm a respectable kid and in 2 weeks am moving out to go to school. Its a monday night, i go downstairs to tell my mom im going to my friends house and she freaks out on me. I tell her im going to my co-workers tristan to play wii, and shes like where are you actually going, you are still living in my house dont lie to me, tell me where you are going!
WTF. so now she wont let me go because she thinks im going out to do drugs (which i never do)... what the fuck. this is bullshit.

Exactly, you need to tell her that you're now a legal adult and can make desicions by yourself. If she pulls out the old "not in my house" thing you might think about getting an apartment with a friend or something.

well he is moving out in 2 weeks, so gettin another place would be stupid. are you the youngest or oldest or only child? if so your parents are scared that you are going away. my parents did the same thing when i went away to freshamn year 2 yrs ago. now im a junior and they still get sad and act wierd.

my parents arnt really flipping on me about going out and partying, i guess we have a trusting relationship. They know that i drink every once and a while and smoke a lot but they know i dont go to work or class high so they are letting me do alot of stuff they usually wouldnt before i go.

man, get over it. Your rents love ya, and want to spend what ever time they have left with you. Just talk to them about it. My first year out, my dad/mom did the exact same thing. You just have to talk to them about it, and quit bitching. Man you 18, you can do what you want.

Ahh just be happy you parents love you, they will get over it when you leave. maybe just stick around the house a little more than usual and spend time with them, they are just sad to see you leave.
