ok so....i havnt seen idea yet, but i feel like it is going to be the closest thing to what i want to see in a ski movie to date.
my dream for a ski movie would be one where they compare the lives of maybe 4 skiers, similar to idea, but instead 2 would be freeskiers, like pep and pollard, and then the other two would be comp skiers like jon and candide. documenting everything that goes on throughout their year, and their feelings about the trips they just went on and winning/losing the comp they just did and what things they want to do to prepare for the next comp. yadda yadda
if any of you have ever seen the movie blue horizon, its a surf movie that is pretty sweet, and it is along these lines. they compare a diehard comp surfer, andy irons to a true freesurfer dave rasta.
something like this would be sweet too because then the movie could be a full length movie rather than all these 20 min movies with no personality whatsoever....
so someone get on this and make this movie for me! kthxbye
