Not that anyone cares but a lot of shit has happened to me lately. I spent two weeks in colorado (i live in ma) and it was the two best weeks of my life. My girl friend lives in denver and I waited 3months to see her and it was worth it. So now im home and misserable and have to wait 6months+ before I see her again. The day after I got back I decided to go driving on a scetchy unlit road with my friend in seperate cars. It was night and we were driving fast as usual and i decided to pass him going "85+++" because I didnt care about taking risks at the time (i was mad to be home and away from my gf) I cant remember much but apparantley there was a hill that i didnt notice and a truck was at the bottom of it. So im next to my friend when i see lights coming towards me and I vear off the side of the road. I was on a mountain and on the side of the road was all heavily wooded. My friend thought I was dead but i finally came out the car holding my head which i dont remember. I got a concusion and he took me home (the guy in the truck stopped but just left after asking if we were drunk). I went to the hospital where they found me to be fine besides a few scratches (over 2000 dollar bill for them to tell me that im fine). A cop came into the hospital with my ticket and said that i should be dead. This one spot that i hit was a short rock wall that took the impact. If i hit a tree i would have died since the tree would have taken all the impact and cut the car inhalf. After hitting the rocks he said my car flipped and flew 15feet in the air, did a 180 and hit a tree (15feet in the air). He said he measured a 125foot skid mark one way and 100foot the other way which is bull shit because there were no skid marks because i just went off the road and it was obvious what had happened when I checked it out the next day. So 100$ for crossing the line even though i started on split lines and 400$ for going "85+++" in a 45. He said if he put 90 it would be an illegal offense. If I were going that fast i would be dead, even my dad thinks that its complete bull shit since the cop figured all this out in pitch dark. So its been a few weeks since all that and ive calmed down, 3000$car totalled(nothing left of it that has any value) 500$ticket. The cop said he wasnt taking away my license. Yesterday i get a letter in the mail from the registration of motor vehicales saying my license is suspended for 90days AND i have to pay ANOTHER 500$ to reinstate it..i finally payed off the ticket after working extra hours at my boring job and now they are taking more money for me. I know im lucky to be alive but im screwed, im not going to drive untill im out of college because my parents wont let me and I have to go to classes for being an aggressive driver and all this other shit. If it were winter skiing would solve everything but its summer so instead I have to bitch about all my problems on newschoolers so yeaa..

that sucks a lot. what a ridiculous cop to give you absurd tickets like that. i think you have learned your lesson and won't do that again? congrats on being alive still too.

I dont know ive done stupid stuff on that road before maxing out and stuff but on the flat parts and in daylight I dont remember what was going through my head but I think I was just like fuck it there is most likely no car. I think the truck was speeding to because when i went for it there were no lights but he was going fast and passing soemone who is speeding is the worst idea ever.

cops are gettin so bad nowadays

they will give you tickets for the most pathetic little shit

and if he didnt even see the accident i would fight those in court man...

theres no way that tickets like that could stand up in court if he didnt see the accident happen or see how fast you were goin

That's not how things work. Accidents happen every day and police don't witness every single one of them. It's called an investigation, and I'm guessing the officer has the evidence to back up the charges....

good thing your ok happy to hear it. i live in MA too and you prob knew about law changes and you should know that cops are not the ones who decide if you keep your licnese its the registry, and you prob knew if you get one speeding ticket license gone for 90 days. so you porb shoulda thought about that first. i have like 20 days till im 18 and its been inprinted in my head cause i am not loosin my license but de glad that your alive and get to rip the gnar

well, you're damn lucky to be alive. and although the charges are a bit extreme did you ever stop and think you deserve that? 85 mph on a road like that? what the fuck man? good thing you didn't kill anyone, maybe next time you'll learn to take out your anger in a different way.

the cop didnt see it happen, he said that through measuring (invisible) skid marks he could tell the speed I was going. I dont want to deal with court I just want it to be over and get on with my life even though I will have to deal with the consequences for awhile.

Don't bitch at the cops, they've been doing that whole skid mark investigation shit for a long time. My friend went off the road behind me into a stone wall. Took a shitty corner going 50 or a little faster and simply went off the road. Just be thankful you're alive which is incomparable to loosing your license for a little while and a few hundred bucks.

well everybody drinks and drives at some point, you just got to be careful and know your reactions arent as good as they should be. but dont be the faggot who thinks he's invincible and drives around at 100 miles an hour. and dont drive when your really fucked up. but honestly i know some people who drive better drunk than other people drive sober

I'll claim on this one i guess. Take it as a lesson in life, you weren't that close to dying, try bouncing your body off a guard rail at 70 mph. Motorcycle accidents suck worse trust me.(but i didn't get any fine or anything)
