does anyone have any idea when they are gonna be released, on their site it still just says ski update 1, and ski update 2, im curious to see how these turn out
no idea when they are planning to update, only one of the skis is anything that will interest anyone on here, they have one twin tip and one carving ski.
ran into a guy with the twintips at keystone and he said they rode great, its not like palmer doesn't have any experience with boardsports though.
pretty close to the worst ski i've ever ridden. they have way too much sidecut and hook up way too easily for a park ski, and k2 recons or rossi b3's have more of a 'twin tip' than the palmer skis do. i think they actually skied better switch than forward though.
that ski is definitely not nearly symmetrical at all. the tail is barely raised up, no more than k2's all mtn ski like the recon or outlaw, so landing switch on anything but hardpack would be sketch at best. also, they ski like they have the sidecut of a slalom ski. have fun landing a 50 foot stepdown with that and not hooking up on the landing if you dont land perfectly.
Dude all you guys need to stop knockin and go ski it before. the twin doesnt look noticeable but, the tip and tail of the skis are rockered slightly when you have weight on the ski. but the demo bindings are often mounted too far back which give the ski a weird and really soft feeling. but if you move the binding on the demo track up as far as possible the ski, skis way better. they are the most fun park ski i have ever been on.
