I really just noticed how much of an influence going to highschool is on drinking. I have drank almost everynight except for a select few days were i was still hung over, or i got in trouble and had to stay in this past 8 months.... Its like, if it was weed i really doubt it would be as serious but its like. Im not even close to being a big drinker at my school. I really think our generation is gonna be fucked in the long term, plus global warming is just gonna sand bag our kids. I just guess i would never of thought that everyone would party so much everyday. Does anyone else go to a school like this, its just redic. I can see like why you would drink in the summer and stuff, but onece you start drinking in the morning at the mountain on the lift its like whaaaaaaat the fuck is going through your head. Its really funny to see all the kids who try to stay sober and the only thing they cant quit is alchohal. I have a couple of friends who got into Coke and its supposivley easier to quit than an alchohal addiction. But yeah, this turned out really long.
when i was in high school i didn't drink once. i just never felt the need. wasn't against it or anything, but my friends and i just did other stuff. i saved the partying for college and after 3 years of partying whenever i want, it's time to focus on grad school and drink much less often.
and the guy that said highschool doesn't matter much, i agree with you. i was ranked high in my class, and i decided to go to a school which accepts prettu much anyone, just because they had a program i wanted. i still could have been accepted if i partied in high school. i don't think drinking in high school would have affected my college much, but whatever. it's the past. i had a blast in high school, but college trumps it with no comparison.
