at the beach checking badges. used to anyway.I'd had enough of them and their inability to understand what I was saying and what a part time job was and the crappy pay/ scheduling. the final straw was today, they let us go a few hours early due to some rain coming through. I grabbed my surfboard and when I was about waist in the guards started calling everyone out because of the pouring rain and lightning all over. I decided I'm a kid and I want to spend the summer doing what I love and hanging with friends, not wasting my time with them and I was sick of missing waves because of work. So I called up and quit.

ya i just left my hard ass summer job now i get 2 weeks of staying up all night partying (that will not really change i can jsut not wake up at 7 every day! fuck yea!!)

haha i like my job. 7.50 an hour to take orders and scoop icecream. plus an average of 15$ in tips for about a 5 hour shift. i just want more hours so i can get my camera quicker.

that's what my next job will probably be. for 4 hours of work I can make more than I used to for 9 to 5. tips kick ass.

my mom is so dope 8 bucks an hour to sit in a booth and watch people ride go karts and then i yell at them to get out...

plus i make like 15 dollars a shift just looking under the seats for change

but its closing soon so i have to find a new job...

i quit my job today too! though i did give my two weeks notice two weeks ago. i worked at safeway doing what they called "facing". i had to start at 5 in the morning, and all i did was turn cans and stuff around so that it was lined up on the shelves with the english side out. yeah, that's why i quit. i did get $.75 an hour though which is pertty decent considering that a monkey could do it

daaamn, 8.75/hr for that, that's not bad. was it boring though? that was the main problem with my job, people thought it would be cool, sit and listen to music and read but it was so boring, I felt like I was wasting my life away there. haha, monkeys.

yea man, i work at Market Basket, which is a new England supermarket chain. I get $7.50 to bag groceries, retrieve carts and "break down" which is the same as facing. It blows most of the time, but every now and then i get a good shift with funny people which makes the day go by so much faster. Anyways starting next week i make $8.50 an hour and $12.75 on sundays working in the deli department, hopefully it should be a better/easier job then being a slave in checkout.
