Shining White Shine (a response to the thanks brain thread)

this is kind of a response to the thread about snowboard videos: Shining White Shine is essentially the bonus footage from whiteshine compiled into a 1hour+ edit, and personally, ilike it more than whiteshine itself. Not only is there still some sick skiing (i believe a lot of the video from whiteshine is included, i dunno it's been ahwile since i last watched it)but there is also a whole lot of funny lifestyles and mini jibs. SWS really makes you feel like a part of what's going on and gives you some insight into what goes into the making of ski movies and what a pro's seaon is like.
So thanks brain may be better, i haven't seen it, but i think SWS is a good example of how ski movies should be (shortened up a bit though)

i am always too lazy to get to the extra footage, but i think that the "its all junk" scene did a good job of showing what he was talking about.

i havent seen whiteshine but i heard its good. I still have yet to see a ski movie thats all that fun looking, they all look like its super serious adn they have to land the trick. yearbook sorta looked fun and skimatic was the closest ive seen but the cartoon stuff was weird. I'll get the new MDP movie probly but for skiing i predict that maybe More for the Astronauts will be more like snowboard movies and maybe fashion show, but nothing else is looking that for for this year

i agree, i like shining white shine a lot better than the actualy white shine, the music was sick and i like how it shows them not just skiing but when their setting up stuff and just chillen.
did anyone else notice smoke in the part where its tj schiller talking in a kitchen, he seems ripped and i swear there is smoke twirling in the air
