80% of their boxes are flat. The rest or either down or somewhat kinked. They all get boring after a while. It's fun riding weirdly shaped boxes/rail rather then the same old flat, down, kinked.
haha swingset! there's def. some whack rails at blue. the ones up top were decent though. and i'd much rather have flat, f/d, simple rails etc...kinda shit that give you way more optioins than some of that shit in the picture above.
i just want like some single barrel flat rails..why have places gone away with these..the only place i saw with one this year was boulder..theirs was perfect..boulder is fun and im sure sno will be too
Bc for snowboarders boxes are a lot better, I can imagine single barrels are a pain in the ass on snowboards and difficult to do presses on, and since most mountains around here cater to what snowboarders like, especially boulder, we get no rails or very few
Either way I'll probably make my way up to both of these places at least once this year. I'm steering clear of blue ever since their lifty doin donuts totaled my truck.
05/06 season just before christmas, I was coming in to meet my bro for an afternoon of skiing when some punk doing fishtails at about 35mph slid out of the parking lot exit right into the side of my yota. Slammed me into the snow bank and I just missed the huge poles for the main gate. Kid got out and it was some 17 or so year old sporting a blue mountain jacket. I could get his name off insurance papers I'm sure if your really that interested. Talk about a bad way to start the afternoon. I had a huge grin on my way up the access road too only to look left and immediately I knew he wasn't gonna be able to stop.
