Boot comparison

right now i have salomon performa 6 boots.  flex rating--65
im looking into buying salomon flyer boots.  flex rating--70.

i had really bad shin bang with the performa 6, and they fit right.  im 115 pounds.  but will the flyers solve the problem?  or are they mostly the same boot?

i used to have a problem where every time i landed my shins would slam the front of my boot leaving huge dents in my shins (sounds weird but it really left a dent), what is that called then, i thought i was shin bang but i wasnt landing backseat

me too but my boots were just to big and i grew into them and now it does not do that anymore my boot is 27.5 and im getinh 28.5 i hope there going to fit well and dont hurt my chin

between the 2 i'd get the flyer. Comparing a performa and 1080 boot for adults, the 1080 wins it every time. The performa is the boot most stores use as their rental boots. Plus I know the adult performa is a bitch to work on, ie; get stretched out etc.

It sounds like your calf muscle is too skinny for your boot. Get yourself some eliminator tongues (i think proctor jones sell em).

Dude if your 115 Flyers might be a little too soft. But go to a BOOTFITTER!
