Replying to Ankle/Feet Support

Just wondering how many people are using additional foot support beyond just your boots? I've read a lot of people using the Wintergreen Superfeet - or get custom insoles done.

Anyone use any kind of ankle wrap to provide more support or to help prevent injury?

My problem is that left foot has a bone right below the ankle that sticks out (almost looks like a second ankle). Someone posted pictures a little while ago of the same thing. My right foot feels fine in my boots - but the left puts too much pressure on that bone and it hurts after 20-30 minutes. Anyone have any recommendations on different materials, companies, etc.
