i dont know what music math thing you were using but i have music match on my computer. its a dell program but i dont know if thats the same thing. the program im talking about is basically like itunes

you can make some sick drum beats and rap beats with it

fruityloops is shit, i tried using it and the samples/loops/plugins all blow.
get ableton live its amazing. its so much easier to work with and actual pros work with it. if you want to get into more complicated stuff try reason and cubase and protools. but ableton is by far the best. you can even mix/dj with it.
