Replying to About living and working in nz

so im pretty sure i will move to nz next summer (your winter) to work at a ski hill for a few months. i m wondering, 1, if its better to apply for a job and get it all set up before i get there, or if it would work to just find a job once i got there. 2, what is the housing situation like for employees- are there dorms or does everyone just get an apartment in town? 3, will i actually make much money and what is the cost of living like? what i want to do is have a ton of money saved up before i get there, then live on my wages while im there, and travel for a few months after the ski season. 4, what ski area is the sickest? i'm more into all mountain crusing and pow, but a decent park would be nice as well. any tips? thanks!
