Damn, I had not heard anything about it yet. But what do they mean nov. 1st-3rd? Lucky for me thats right after I get back from peru, so I might be able to make it. Last years was sick, just being on the field was awesome. I want to go again for sure.

No, but I will be in the nearest large city to it, Cusco. You pretty much have to go to cusco to get there.

cusco sucks to tell you the truth from my experience there. just getting used to the altitude is terrible because it takes so long. going from lima (sea level) to cusco (11-12K feet) is one of the worst experiences ive had. stay in lima and go clubbin in barranco. remember to get this drink called a pisco sour. its the shit.

oh and cuzquena beer is great, and so is pilsen (pilsen is more for downing it and getting faded). you'll notice the food in peru is also a lot better than most other places in the world.

I know pisco sour alright! As far as altitude sickness goes, I think I'll be alright, as I live at 7k ft here most of the year, but we'll see. I am only going there for one reason anyway, my girl. Could careless about the city. We'll see I guess.
