As far as looks go they are cool.  But Oakley has always made the best glasses, goggles, eyewear as far as technology and quality are concerned.

Oakley is a much better company, because it has no prejudice between different sports. A company like Anon cannot progress with it's current attitude towards skiers. They may look cool, but, good luck going big time when freeskiing goes BIG.

Anons gogles always sucked they try to make there lenses ALOT mirroir but the refletion sucked especialy on my figments i sold my figments for 20$ cause i could not stand seeing those
pieces of shit.With snowboarding the company wont die.. but we all know that skiing will someday take over and they will probably try to REsponser athletes but only the stupid ones that really want a sponser and will go against the entire ski population.. Pointe sayed Anon Will Probably try to get skiing athletes back it the future.

seriously who the F#ck cares if they have a ski team. if you wanted to support the ski industy why would you give your money to multi-billion dollar Oakley. buying a product because of the team = gay = you are a jersey skiier.

Just thought I'd let you know, but in case you haven't realized the quality of the optics and comfort of their goggles is garbage in comparison to the other goggle companies.

They have some real nice designs, but other than that, they are garbage.

its funny how they had adds in freeskier and stuff pretty much saying that they think skiing is cool, then all the sudden they realise that all the gapers that they sell their shitty product to think skiing is gay, so they drop the skiers to make their biggest buyers "gaypers" happy.

burton the gayest, most trendy company is all snowsports.

    I've never really hated anon, I just didn't like it (I hate them now though) but thats really fucking gay they just drop there sponsors that ski for no reason. Who the hell drops TJ Schiller and Eric Pollard for no reason?? Oh well they'll probably get sponsored by Oakley or something.
    But I don't have anything against Burton, and I don't care if people think its gay for skiers to rock a snowboarding companies clothing, but it makes good quality stuff that isn't overpriced like a lot of ski companies are. Sure it's trendy and all but who cares, it's a good product so I'm gonna keep buying it until some other company makes something better.

Anon never really made anything special.  Their goggles sucked.  A trend at best.  It is true, oakley, smith, and spy make some of the best eyewear in the business.  The spy stuff is actually made in the same factory as oakley, eyeglasses anyway.

I don't buy Oakley because some team rider wears them. back around the time I was 10 I had some crappy goggles that constantly fogged and froze, I couldn't find one that didn't do that. this was before I knew anything about brands or team riders or freeskiing. anyway, I borrowed a pair of my dads Oakleys because he said they hadn't fogged on him. sure enough they didn't fog on me either. I was damn happy to finally have some good goggles and since then I have literally never worn any goggles that weren't Oakley. some years later I came to this site and realized how many people were obsessed with Oakley. I still have an ooold pair of my moms purple oakleys with the old logo on it, before they switched to the new one, and then started making the old one again on some crowbars.

I don't think that losing all the skiers will really affect their business hugely, but they will feel the hate.
Fuck them for going backwards. Skiers and boarders should be relatively chill. Companies should encourage that, not start anger and hate.
