Ive known of this for a while now and it might have been posted before but here it is anyway.
Linux Users: This is much easier to get to. If you use the windows looking version of Redhat or whatever... click on the systems tab, then the terminal tab. Type 'lynx' as the basic command and it is very easy to figure out how to browse from there.
Windows: Go to control panel, and look for a 'Hyperterminal' tab. If you cant find it, do a search for it. Then follow the same basic process as above.
This basically is just a text version of the internet, how it was in the mid-80s. It will probly require a minute to set up your account but it is very easy. This makes 56k connections run at a DSL speed, and DSL almost instantly. I use it alot when i am doing homework and things that dont require pictures.
