HELP with xbox

hey, does anyone here have to hook up their xbox to there vcr and then thier vcr to there tv to play games/dvds on the xbox? cuz i do, and im havin some troubles settin it up..

ok, my tv doesnt have those red yellow, and white things you have to plug in, but my vcr does, so i dont understand the problem? i have them in the 'in' part and the cable that is hooked from my vcr to my TV is in the out plug. so .. i dont know what the fuck is wrong!

put it on channel 3 or AUX and hit the tv/vcr button (some vcr's only have this button on the remote so if that's MIA you could be fucked) if all else fails you can buy a switchbox from radio shack for about $25 that changes the RCA cables (red white yello) to a tv screw in thingie.....or you could just bu a new tv with component video and your games will look ten times beter

you might have to put a video in your vcr, press play so its playing and then press stop. some vcrs will change to the inputs when you do that

ok plug the stuff into the VCR. Hit the input/aux button on your tv. It should work after that. If not play with the Video/TV button on your vcr.

yeah, there is a little box you can buy at radio shack. i had to buy one for my dvd player. they're only like 20 bucks or something
