What do you think of the "skinny jeans" revolution
i was up at hood a couple weeks ago and saw some boarders and skiers stealin their sisters pants again. i think its alright its opening up the sport to a new crowd. emo in skiing? o shit
skiing is full of a bunch of teenage girls. Honestly. Everybody cares so much what they wear, its sad. Just get out there and ski. I wear a jacket i got on sale, poles bent out of shape like 5 times, chipped skis, and campmor snow pants. And you know what? I don't care. Just fucking ski. The park is boring if overdone, ski the whole mountain. I can't believe how many people care so much about what they wear. It saddens me
im gonna look on the bright side of this talking about each others pants faggotry. At least the tight jeans kids dont fake their steez as bad.
But god damn it kids who puts tight pants in their youtube video description and says tight pants steez in their photos you gotta be some kind of douchebag...
some guys can pull it off like this. surface skis are way tight i like em and it seems they're leaning toward that direction. just wanted to bring it up sorry.
Surface has a shirt that says "we are so artsy right now" haha as long as u know it. do whatever you want
and it all boils down to skiing. skiing is skiing we're all havin fun
i dont wear the awesomly tight jeans, but my lifetime jeans are semi tight and they're so comfy, my friends wear sewn tight jeans, they cant run in them that well and the're a bugger to get off
If your wearing tight pants on the hill or on the street and you randomly get the shit beat out of you by people you dont know. Sorry but you were asking for it.
just about as gay as skiing itself. understand you just hated on the self expression side of skiing which is basically what makes the sport the sport it is, your not on a fuckin team so you dont all have to dress the same. maybe you should be playing football because you cant handle people wearing different shit or rockin a different style. skiing is self expression and if you have to hate on someone elses expression you should quit, fuckin period
i think tighter ones are warmer cause they are closer to your actual body and trap the body heat better, wear baggy pants dont trap as well. i may be wrong but thats my guess
That is exactly what I thought, but I was wrong....way wrong. In the winter when it was freezing out I had on some SKIN tight jeans and they just made it even colder, went home threw on some looser ones and it was 100% better.
i will never, ever, ever wear tight pants. ever. quote it. and to ppl who do thats great, but i've saw trends come and go and there are some i have and havent followed. never.
lmao! "stealin their sisters pants again" haha! yeah i have no problem with those people cuz like you said a whole new side to the sport instead of just gaper, normal and gangsta shit. cuz like snowboarding has every kind of style there is..
I don't think that the tight pants look can be 'pulled off', the guy in the pic still looks bad but thats my view.
Personally I don't like tight pants. I like my pants being a little baggy. But if your comfortable, warm and having fun then all the props to you. I just don't think the whole tight pants thing looks as good.
tight pants are soooo sik in my opion e.g. u can go faster into jumps very very slipstreem you dont have 2 wear thermals u already have them on :) your being originalish which is rad, your not trinna b a gangster when your not haha and gangsters are fags they kill people what dicks, you can wear the pants is casual and nobody notices you never pull off the tight jakets baggy pants style evan if you tri!!! you can wear pretty much anything with them e.g. tall ts small ts sweat bands fluro tops fathers gansta shoes oldschool shoes b rugged as or b posh as ect AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST you can do bigger spread egals and over take more people so slap some on slap on a grin and listn 2 some sik music and have a good time. chew woo
The amount of sycophants on newschoolers never fails to surprise me. Everything in the periphery gets hated on until some legit pro decides it's OK, then it becomes the hottest shit. First it was baggy clothes (yes, years ago), the return of neon colours, the no poles thing that happened over the last few seasons, and now we're onto tighter outerwear. Hate, hate, hate, hate.
I wear tight jeans (APC's, Dior) in day-to-day life, I like my suit pants cut slimmer than the standard but I like baggier fitting ski pants. Also, I rarely use poles. That's my style.
Things like this are just so close-minded and ignorant. You don't know a goddamn thing about fashion or the world outside your highschool. Fashion is completely cyclical and fitted/loose cycles in and out all the time. Have you ever seen a picture of what people were wearing from the 1970s? Have you been to NYC, Paris or Tokyo recently?
Tight, dry denim is pretty much the hottest thing in streetwear fashion right now. Straight or tapered leg. You'll see it filter down into your closet in the next few years albeit in a little bit looser fit and much cheaper denim. This is the way all major fashion trends work. Hell, Volcom now offers a tighter fitting dry denim.
if every body all wore baggy pants itd b pretty gay wouldnt it u need the punters u need the gangsters u need the alternitives thats what makes the sport sick. people say they think tight pants are gay they think baggy pants are gay. harden the fuck up oi u dnt need 2 do all this complaing lets just all do the 1 thing were there 2 do and ski.
you took the words outta my mouth.
i remember saying that kids will wear tight pants skiing a couple years ago and was told i was an idiot.
The funny thing is the kids hating will be wearing tight pants if it really gets trendy because they are the ones who care so much about doing whats cool.
Yep. Exactly. I'm not sure the skinny pants will ever be as popular as baggy pants but the point remains. It seems people on here will rip something to shreds which is not yet cool but as soon as it gains legitimacy, they hop right on the bandwagon. Oh well.
