Moving to england

Dude, good luck over there. Northern England accents are terrible... indoor ski places are like 60m long. And the "English Ski Scene" almost isn't there... you might as well go to France/Austria/Switzerland to find the English skiers.

Oh, and everything is the same price as it is in Canada pretty much... except in GBP. In otherwords, everything is twice the price there. It was like 8 GBP for 2 donuts and 2 coffees went I went. That's like 16 bucks dude. Although if you're earning money over there it should be okay.

Try looking up SnowDome or Xscape. I'm not really sure Accrington is so I dunno how far it will be from these places.

ah man sucks! just read the thread. U will actually kill anythin that you slide past on the 60slopes! all the indoor domes have freestyle nights which are as best we can provide

like i said its better than nothing i guess. Also check out BUSC which is British University Ski Club which always hosts events!

i dunno man, although english skiing sort of sucks, with the indoor slopes and our dendix crap, its pitty fun. Theres usually some pitty sick freestyle nights at all of the indoor slopes. I usually ski at tamworth snowdome which is pitty good, ramps and rails every tuesday and saturday night, also if you were filming with poor boyz and whatnot then you'll find it super easy to pick up a sponsorship over here seen as the level of competition is lower compared to canada and america and stuff, look into the salomon or line gb teams here, i bet they'd pick you up if you sent in some video or photos. But yeah, things are pitty cool here, i mean you can always head down to a slope and jsut start talking to people, everyones pitty friendly you know..but yeah, wont be as good as canada for the skiing.
