Big Pow ski desicions...

I am looking to add a big soft pow ski to the quiver (already have some Prophet 100's and AR6's)and I am looking for any input or personal experience from ns'ers.

My local shop just got their shipment of Hellbents and EP pros. It's seems like 6's to me, I looked at both in the shop for like an hour. They only have a couple pairs of each one and they give me a huge discount so anyways, I feel like I should decide soon...

The EP pro seems s bit softer, lighter, wider, and more symmetrical, and the rocker seems to start a tad closer to center. Also, the graphic is really chill up close, I like it, there's a little map reppin the WC states on the topsheet, I didn't notice it in the online pics.

The Hellbents are a tad stiffer, and heavier. The dimensions and flex might be a bit more condusive to playin around in the park. The graphics are straight gnarly, almost spooky.

...they both look like alot of fun, anyone ridden both?

i rode the hellbents and they're awesome.  soooo much fun.  they'd be a great addition to your quiver.  my only qualm with the hellbent is it's weight.  kinda heavy compared to most, but i guess it is nine feet wide.  oh, and i can't stand the graphic.  i don't like advertising my homocidal tendencies in the lift line.

haha you sound like my mom when she skis with me when im on my made'ns or seths.  Im in no means into crazzy graphics like that but its fun to watch people cringe at the redic graphics.

i cant comment on the EP pros since i havent skied them, but the hellbents are super fun, and they're really not that stiff once you get on them.

wow, I wish I had your dilema! Trying to choose between Hellbents and Ep Pros, how stressful! Anyways, good luck!

i flexed some hellbents and they were fairly soft, nothing amazing though and very heavy. i cant find the pic of it but theres a guy that like pretty much flex's the ep's in half, its crazy, go whichever stiffness you like more

Has anyone here even ridden the EP pro? I have heard reviews of the Hellbent but nothing of EP pro.

Honestly dude, I was considering both of these skis to throw some dukes on to do bc out of the gates and off the road. However, I ended up getting a pair of praxis since they were silly cheap, and even with rocker, you can't compete with reverse sidecut for pure powder manuverabilty. I still wanna try one of these skis, so go with either one, and I hope I fit into ur bindings.

Hellbents ARE hella ugly tho. They're both noodles.

be careful asking ns for their opinions. hellbents seem to be the it ski for tools around here (if you have them that doesnt make you a tool but everybody around here seems to dick ride a certain ski for some reason even if they have no expirence) i'd say the eps

The EPs are Noodles. It's pretty sick. The Hellbents are a little more solid, but still, WAY softer than the Maden's even.

I can't bring myself to ski a ski that's only 185. I will be purchasing Hellbents this year

Are they really THAT soft? What other skis can you compare it to? Was it anywhere near as soft as Atomics superfat last year the thug or whatever.
