hey guys, i need new skis this season. i am 6', 150 lbs. i ski midwest park basically. which ski would be better for me: the watchlifes in 181 or the p3s in 178? also, if i got the p3s, would stepping up to the 184's be a good idea? let me know what you think

the p3's are pretty sick, they rip hard and turn great. you could go with ethier 178 or 184 they aren't that much different in size if you have them center mounted or close to.
i found they weren't the most durable. could have been the skis i had though and or the way i ski...
the watchlifes look sick. but i don't think you could go wrong with the p3's.

I skied at least 50 days on 178 p3s from 05/06 (same ski). They really are an awesome ski. I have found them super durable. The base is like new, no edge cracks. The top sheet is in good condition considering use. I am about the same size and went 178. Maybe go with the 184 if you're doing more bc and powder with them.

Both are sick skis, but the Watch Life is a lot stiffer than the P3. Depends if you want a soft or stiff ski.

P3's are really nice skis, they have a really good flex for butters nollies and jib related stuff and they still jump really well. I haven't ridden the surfaces, but my friend had a pair and they were too stiff in his opinion and they kinda fell apart on him(bindings pulled out with topsheet). I wouldnt be surprised if they fixed this problem in the newer ones.
