Soft, all-mountain ski

Please help me...I am having a bit of a dilemma. I was supposed to be spending another season in whistler but instead have to go back to europe to ski, damm.( i was going to get some moment melees) . However now my needs have changed.
I want something to replace my scott p3's. I will be doing around 50% park 25% groomers/ice/crud and 25% powder. I am torn between the ar6 ,line anthem, and maybe the reno rocker. As alot of the time I'll probably run in to fairly icey conditions, would the rocker really be a good choice. The reason I want a soft ski is that i want something to butter around on as well. This ski is going to be in addition to some lizzies. I am 5'10" and 155lbs.

arv is a little bigger than i'd want @185 and a little short @175 to take advantage of its versatility.

alright well out of those choices i would prolly go with the anthems due to the wider waist. but the rockers would befun too. i just dont know how well they will ride through crud and groomers because i have never skied a rockered ski.

they wouldn't do to well compared to the anthem and ar6. Get the anthem.

In my opinion, a 185 ARV would be perfect for you..i have the 06/07 model (175) and they are SUPER soft

i think ill probably get anthems. They are really reasonably priced too. Maybe Ill get melees next year (crosses fingers).

will the anthem's tips dive in powder? they're made to be center mounted since they're symetrical...will it be a problem? would it be really bad to mount a few cm's back or is that just defeating the ski's purpose?

yeah, you want arv's, and if you mount them a little forward you wont notice the extra size and in the long run it will help you.

I am not going to worry to much about tip dive as I have some 06/07 lizzies. However when I had 179 seths mounted like -4cm from centre they dove in powder and I'm only 155.I think anthems and ep pros/ melees/ hellbents would be the dopest set-up ever for the west coast.

My room mate has 185 arv's mounted -2cm and I find they are just too similar to the 179 seths I had. I liked the seth but I found it could be a bit of a pig sometimes. It really excels at moderate to fast speeds, I want something more responsive at a lower speed. besides I think an arv and lizzie for somewhere where I am only skiing powder 25% of the time, probably less is a bit overkill.

Does anyone know if the 178 anthem has the blue base like joe schuster's in the COC photos or are they black as they are shown on jibij etc..

i'd go with the reno rockers or regular renos
if you want them soffft tell the guys at moment and they'll make it happen

I sent moment an email about the custom flex and versatility of the rocker. If they don't have what I'm after, I'll get anthems fo sure.

Not a big fan of salomons in general though I did love the dumont when I demoed them. Didnt think much of the foil or gun. I prefer the 'feel' you get from a wood core ski, foam/isocell skis feel a bit lifeless to me.

why would you recommend sfb's to someone who's not skiing that much powder and needs a ski that can handle ice. I am guessing you are referring to sir francis bacons, if not, I apologise.
