Foam core will work for a season or 2 depending on how hard you ski.  I don't think it is worth your money.  Just get something that will last longer.

i ski way hard on my skis and the flyers held up the whole season. i was throwing down on sixty footers and they held up good. i would use em.

first of all your spelling 'Salomon' wrong. and Salomon just put up their '08 skis so check out www.salomonski.com

I think all 08 salomons are wood core. I could be wrong though.

the flyers are monocoque single wall construction with a isocell complex core(foam) and they have tip rivets! there color is yellow green and red! lengths 141 151 161 171 side cut of 100/80/104=(161) radius 12.4/15.3/18.7/21

theres everything you need to know about that ski!
