lol....you always have soo many valid points Mitch, always fun to watch you own these kids.

I would say that this thread is SUPER useless. We are in different wars, equiped differently, different tactics.

Canadian ground troops are actually better equiped then most american forces. With new money infused the canadian millitary ground forces now uses Mercedies Benz G wagons. Although our navy, and airforces are still using outdated equipment. Our training programs are second to none. Our pilots are some of the best in the world.

But the American armed forces have Billions of dollars, and tons of people to back them.

In the end we schould hope not to use our millitaries for anything. And to the people telling us that peacekeeping is shit.....it is better to peacekeep, then police.

What i was trying to say was that not a single other nation legally uses the weapons we use. Every single weapon used by the MILITARY of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is under contract to be under the sole use of America and its registered civilians by contract (or strongly allied NATO countries). That said, what you thought about our "arms dealers" dealing our "arms" to rogue nations is flat out wrong. What you said is the source where we get our guns also sells them to small countries for a lower price. THIS IS FLAT OUT WRONG.
Let me explain:
For example, probably the most well known gun is the m16. This is produced by the American gun manufacturer, Colt which is located in Hartford Connecticut. Every single Colt m4a1/m16 is engraved with this in large letters on the left side of the lower receiver on the magwell:
PROPERTY
OF US GOVT.
M4A1 CARBINE
CAL 5.56 MM.
*serial number*

I have one i would know.
Colt is under contract to sell these to America and only America. Certain very priveleged and registered civilians can purchase them too but at a very high price with automatic disabled. The US government allowed Canada to purchase these weapons after much begging but wouldn't allow them to have them directly. Therefore, Canada has the c7. Thus this is a prime example of how every weapon we source cannot be sourced to small African countries.

The same goes for every other gun we own by the gun manufacturers i listed.

Exceptions:
The few joint-NATO weapons are:
Heckler and Koch mp5 series (which america is phasing out anyway)

Israel uses non contracted left overs from vietnam. we contractually gave them ours through CONTRACTS THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT. nicholas cage didnt go over on a boat filled with colt xm177e2s and f4 fighter planes. It was through treaty that we gave them those. We do not give african nations such expensive weapons outdated or not.

WE attacked mohammad ferrah aidid because he was withholding UN food aid and the country of somolia was being impoverished. A TIME article featured this and soon the liberl counterculture of america called for action. We sent in 30,000 Marines along with pakistanis but they kept being ambushed by somolians. Thus we sent in our best to try to capture aidid and his regime. It was extremely royally fucked before we got there, we tried to arrest a war lord and his militia destroyed the bakara market of mogidishu not us. They royally fucked themselves. You have very obviously not read a single one of my posts.
Canadian ground troops are not acutally better equiped than most of us. This is because we DONT USE DIFFERENT TACTICS GEAR AND TRAINING! You guys adapt less good versions of our stuff and training/tactics. You guys took our ARMY Special Forces group training course and tactics to use for yourself. You use our C7. Everything you guys equip yourself is either a 5 year old version of our stuff, or an equivalent knock off. For example, the most basic peice of agear on a soldier is their camo. Most of you canadians dont know the camo you use. It is called CADPAT. CADPAT WAS DEVELOPED IN NATICK MASSACHUSETTS AT THE NATICK ARMY RESEARCH CENTER
It looks like this:

It was developed maybe 2 or 3 years after the Marines developed MARPAT which looks like this:

A few subtle differences but very obviously a copy.

Next on the chopping block The standard Canadian troop vs the Standard US troop:
Canadian:

Here you have CADPAT and a Blackhawk industries web gear vest. These are produced in America and used there. We used those between 1992-2000.
Here is a standard US troop:

These Army soldiers have PACA low vis armor plus an Eagle Plate Carrier. This means this soldier has 2 levels of protection. He has 2 ceramic plates for defense against 7.62 and greater rounds and then a soft armor shell to 1 absorb the impact of the ceramic plates so the soldier feels nothing and to protect against shrapnel and .45mm and under rounds.

His plate carrier also has PALS/MOLLE webbing. This is said to be the single most revolutionary invention of the modern warfighter. Every us soldier is equipped with this. A lot of SAS British fighters have it now too. Canada has yet to catch on.

I know what youre gonna say. Youre gonna say i chose the lamest manakin pic of your soldiers. Well this is the most Elite soldier you guys have, the Joint Task Force 2 Soldier:

The vest these soldiers are wearing is the IBA (interceptor ballisctic armor). It is issued to US marine "grunts" (aka non Marine FR, MEU). These do not have much PALS/MOLLE webbing and are severly outdated as they lack ceramic plates. Their weapon is the mp5a4, a weapon the US is currently phasing out as it shoots dinky 9mm rounds. They are also using outdated US made PASGT helemts. The US now uses the more advanced MICH 2000 series and IBH helemets. So there you have it, our average soldier is actually more advanced than your most elite.

I have said repeatedly, your army is trained under nato guidelines, guidlines that are out dated. Your last prime minister announced that the training of your army is a direct "clone" (quoted word) of American training but kept at a "peacekeeping angle" and thus less rigorous. I seriously doubt you realize how much training go into each soldier. You know army infantry are now trained under hollywood conditions to simulate live munitions? Enlisted men must go through book camp, then various schools at bragg. its not so simple joining the military here. I'll get your training course and ours and type them up and then i will show you that our military is far superior. Common sense would tell me that any clone cant be better than the original. Especially if it is kept a "peacekeeping angle." Not that peacekeeping isnt a good thing, thats not generally the military's (not MPs) job.

You seriously under estimate america's training. This is natural as youve never seen what goes into forming a fighter pilot here. We have billions of dollars worth of simulators constantly and rigorously training our planes. Ive been to 3 canadian air force bases and they just simply do not train as hard or efficiently as ours. Our planes are also much harder to fly. We have the b2 stealth bomber which has no rear vertical stabilizer nor does it have horizontal stabilizers. Flying a simple wing is very difficult. Also have you ever seen the blue angels perform? They are hands down rated the best airshow pilots in the world. Now if these are retired military pirates, think about how good the non retired ones are.
Our planes are much more advanced. we have (currently):
F-18A/F
F-15 E
F-16
F-5
F-35
F-22
E3
A/C-130
A-10
Harrier (for get number name)

You have:
CT-155
CF-18 (omg, yet another knock-off of an american military product!F-18)

Also american pilots are trained under AFBMT and later on, more and more advanced schools. and navy pilots are trained under the department of the navy;s NATC. the NATC is a more advanced version of the AFBMT with STOL for aircraft carriers.

Canadian pilots are trained under the NFTC, NATO flying training in Canada. The NFTC was written after the AFBMT of the united states as all of the original planes used in nato were American planes. Then when each country started to develop their own strong modern airforce, they began making NFTXXX's. So they all originate from america's out dated airforce trianing for their own planes. The Canadians ahve since evovled to CFANS which is still less rigorous than AFBMT and lightyears behind NATC.

Snowbirds arent on par, in fact 2 have crashed on american air bases before. 1 at mconnel and i cnat rmember the other.
I already noted you use the f18 which you call the CF-18. You also use the old F-18 not the newly upgraded F-18 Super hornet.

Oh! I completely forgot. You guys are part of NORAD which was started and is commanded by the US. This means you have to train under NORAD guidelines too which are developed by Americans. See? Youve always just been a few steps behind.

This thread consists of making very concrete solid definitive dick size compairsons which is what this thread was meant to do. we want a dick size comparison thread. im sick of the make fun of the guy above yours signature threads.

i also think that we would be on par with your military technolgy if you haddent forced us to shut down the avro arow and force all the enginers and designers working at avro to go to the states. so if you think are military is so bad then consider that its your fault.
