OMG SKI HELP THREAD

ok so for the 07/08 skis im looking at the 179 Fuji and the 181 ar6, two definitly different skis i know the fuji is price point so it isnt as nice and its cap construction i beieve and its softer, the ar6 i think is sidewall, stiffer (not sure how much it would be great if someone could compare these) and for my specs i ski mostly Gore Mtn. in NY im 5,8 125-130lbs im not quite sure and im an aggressive skiier

so what are your opinions and why?

your 5'8? I wound reccomend the 181. The 176 would be much better, especially at your weight. 5'8" is what, 172cm? 181 would be total overkill, and mych too hard to throw around. Im 5'8, and i have the 176's. I rode 176 T-halls last season, when I was 5'5, and yes, they were too big. However, I am pleased with the length of my Ar6's and look forward to riding them.

Depends on how many seasons you expect to get out of the ski. If it is one get the fujative but if it is more get the ar6s as they are so lively and poppy while fujis loose their life over time.

good to know im lookin at reno jibs to but i know nothing about those ive only seen how they look, any one got info on their flex, weight, swingweight ect. oh and im lookin to get a few seasons so more likely im gonna take the ar6 probably the 181cm size since its gonna be mounted center

161 is still total overkill. You dont need a ski 9cm bigger than you are.

The ar6's are pretty light, and stiffer than what I'm used to. Very nice, poppy, and feels like it will spin effortlessly.

DONT get the 181. Your only 130lbs, and 172cm. 176cm is pushing it at your weight, expecially with a stiffer ski such as the AR6.
