Nah dude, if you take care of your shit, it should take care of you. I have been skiing my whole life and have never destroyed a ski enough in one season to render it unrideable except for multiple binding pullouts and coreshots, but that is a different situation. I think most people here are talking about edges and delam. So, if your ski starts to delam contact the company or the rep or whoever you bought it from immediately, and get new skis. If your edges fall out and shit, well, you ride to much park or treat your gear like crap, and in this case you probably don't even need edges that badly. Armada and Line make really really good skis, if they are defective they will take care of you, stop worrying so damn much...
if i was to buy a new pair of skis, it would be chronics, much more durable than anything armada puts out, especially the edges which is where i usually have issues.
i had a pair of 05 chronics back when they were still made in Canada and they were the dopest ski ever. id still be riding them now but they were 157 so i had to get new ones. I bought a pair of 06 4FRNT STL 177 and they are DOOOOOOOOOOOPE. such a rad ski im so impressed.
imo all 3 of them are siiiiick companies, i was just out in whistler and saw 07 STLs going for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP
line just got bought by k2 so all of their skis this year are
made by K2 which means they won't delaminate on the first run and they'll be good quality.
But Armada skis are the same ones that the pros are riding in the videos so thats kinda cool. the sir francis bacon's last year were actually ep pro models with bacon graphics.
lines are the shit now. they are made in the k2 factory in china, thats why some of them have vertical sidewall. Line anthems should be one of the best skis on the market this year.
taking into consideration what the dude above me said, i always thought lines were a bit shifty on the production side of things, in otherwords they always delaminate and they arent vertical sidewall. that is basically the difference between a ski and a piece of shit. i would go with armada because i trust it and my friends do. but take your pic
ok soim only13 and im small and my brother last year had the chroniks in the kids version and he brokeum so he got invaders and broke them 2times he got rid of line and this year for christmas i got th armada ar3 wich are also a kid skii and in the fist week all the edges weretorn up completely ruined but my 2friend had adult ones and ther edges broke so i think that armadas suk and this year i got the invaders cuz line is being made by k2 now i thought i wood try them buti havent had adult line skis so idk if it is just the kids skis but i know armadas are no good so try lines
