From the other side...Snowboarder getting into skiing - by Mr.Bishop
-Always
carry your skis on your shoulder. Toepiece behind the shoulder tips
facing forwards. Rest your hand ontop of the tip, and the skis will
balance themselves.
-You must pop strongly off of every jump
-wear all snowboard cloths, skiing ones aren't that cool
-go with the trends in snowboarding, skiing is behind the times but follows it exactly
-when
you slide your first rail remember: *WIDE LEGS* you should be more
than shoulder width apart. If you aren't you're just going to fall on
your side... everyone does this on their first rail. If you keep your
legs wider than all hell you won't though. For that matter, look at
the end of the rail and go faster than you think.
