you're a faggot. steroids don't change the fact that he has one of the most perfect swings and eye hand coordination in all of baseball's history. did you hate on McGuire when he hit the record? Probably not.  All the haters need to shut the fuck up and be happy for the man.

hm no need to hate...

but yeah i agree with you...he does have the swing and hand eye coordination among others, but if he didnt have the power, hed either be chasing ichiro for the most hits or who ever has the record for that, or he would fly out every at bat.

in my opinion he doesnt deserve it for steroids. Its cheating...

of course they're banned for a reason.  the only thing they help with is his strength, but to hit a homer, you don't necessarily need strength, just good timing, eye hand coordination and a shitload of talent.  sure it helped him hit it farther, but everyone was fucking on steriods at the time.  you can't just single him out. you'd have to prosecute half the fucking league.

they tested tons of players and every single big hitter at the time was positive for steroids. canseco, macguire, bonds, palmeiro. and you dont need strength to hit a homerun! hahaha i wanna see a weak 100 lb kid with great talent, timing, and hand eye coordination hit a ball 400 feet

yea congrats on him hitting it, but still, he cheated by using steroids, and it doesn't matter if he did hit any more homers or not because of it, he still cheated, and should have any records erased because of it.

hank aarons the real hero, and i'll congradulate a-rod when he beats bonds.

I only hated because he's received so much hate because of the media and people being ignorant and one sided.  I've met the guy and he's such a chill and nice person.  And if Bonds was on your local team you'd have been happy he did broke it too.  Y'all are just jealous.

and yeah, sorry, I forgot about all that testing. But isn't that saying something that he was never tested positive?  I know plenty of people who have beefed up that much from taking natural forulas.  Not that I belive he did or didn't do it, i'm indifferent at this point.  And you're right on that last point about the weakness, I was just pissed off how many people hate him just because they're told to do so.  Bonds was a big-hitter before he ever beefed up though.

his very first test he was positive. every test after that it said he was clean. either means he quit or the first text was a fluke. still you cant get 75 lbs and 5 inches taller that fast its impossible

like i said, at this point i'm indifferent.  I just like watching him play and know he's actually a good person nomatter what people or the media says about him.  the man fucking took time out of his career to donate some bone marrow to a kid with cancer.

dude, you have no idea what you're talking about.  cheating has nothing to do with being good on the field.  It hinders your ability to play on the field if anything because it makes your muscles more tense and prone to injury.

I meant literally on the field, like as in left field playing defense.   And to some extent yes, I think roids were just "available" and players took them becuase they thought they'd get away with it since everyone else was doing it, why not themselves.
