pepole go snowboarding because it's "cool". or buy burton boards because its a burton board. what else to you hate about snowboarding. (i dont hate snowboarding i just hate some of the pepole that do it)

Yes, I do hate how people snowboard because "snowboarding is cool".

People don't ski, because the image of skiing is still the old, on-piste stuff, whereas when people think of snowboarding, you think of jibbing, jumps, and all that crazy stuff. That's why people think snowboarding is "cool". If freeskiing was just skiing, then people would ski, no doubt. Most people don't see skiing as "freeskiing".

Snowboarding can have all the gapers.  fuck that.

I dont hate snowboarding.  I love it actually.  It's done a lot for our sport, and i think its important for people to try new things.  Ill prob strap on a board sometime this season and hopefully bring stuff from snowboarding to my skiing. 

There is nothing wrong with snowboarding  The thing is wrong is all the ignorant kids that think skiing is gay and snowboarding is cool as they sit in the middle of the trail and 50 50 boxes if they can.  Personally, it's sick to have someone start saying shit about skiing, then you get out a ski movie or freeskier and then they are like, "shit, that's cool."  As long as for the most part, people are always saying shit to me about skiing or as long as they arent sitting all over the place and being dicks, snowbordings good.

this one kid in my grade who is a real faggot always claims he can do like backflips and 720s on his snowboard. so my buddy who snowboards decided to take him to our mountain, the kid could barely go down a black let alone hit a jump with a 5 ft. + gap. he then denied ever saying that he was "good" and he bought like $1000 of equipment and used it 2 times...i hate the kid.

when you see a youtube video of 13 year old snowboarders with extreme music, shaky filming, bad vid quality, and terrible editing. said boarders only do 50 50s and strait airs

when a boarder claims he just nosepressed, but really fell of the rail early

when a boarder claims that "snowboarding is the shit" but only goes 2 times a year

but some snowboarders are cool, dont get me wrong

snowboarders are cool. what you are describing is a gayper. i wouldn't call a hick fromk texas on skis a skier. he i definately a gayper.

a very high majority of kids who snowboard these days, started off skiing

freeskiing didnt come around until after they switched from their straight skis to snowboards

then, snowboarding became cool, so they stuck with it



personally, i love snowboarding. i love to snowboard. yah, there's a bunch of little pricks who lie about their skillzz on the hill, but there's a lot of skiers who do the same

who cares!

dont get me wrong i like snowboarders and have met alot of chill snowboarders that like skiingbut its the ones that think skiing is "gay" are the ones that really grind my gears also the fact that pepole that think snowboarding is cool and do to say that there a snowboarder dosent help are sport grow but other snowboarders that are chill do help are sport grow

last year i was in the park with my friend but i wasent hitting anything i was just watching these 2 boarders.
they were about 20 years old or so, one had a camera and the other one was showing his skills.
so the guy 50/50's the smallest box, does a straight air off the smallest jump, then goes over these bump things and does some gay air thing where he brought his snowboard up to his back.
then he did a terrible butter.
after that he went closer to his friend and started flashing gang signs and said "wut nigga wut"
no joke.
that kind of stuff i just shake my head at
