Motor Sports and their place in the X-Games

So there's always been debate over whether or not motor sports are or are not sports. I'm not going to say they are or aren't, there's certain factors that sway my opinion both ways, I lean towards they are sports. My question for everyone is, do you think they should be involved in the X-Games, and what qualifies a sport for the X-Games in general? In my opinion, the sport should be fairly popular, and have some sort of freestyle element. Almost every sport in the X-Games fits this description, save the car-racing they have. Also, I really think they should put aggro-inline back, those dudes were gnar. Opinions?

hhahahaha i saw that when they did it in newport RI,i was at the first xgames xtreme, but yeah all the racing should be goneeeeeeeeeeee, it may take skill but its not right for the xgames.

All of the motorcycle races are way more physically demanding than any day of skiing. They are just not as much fun to watch, because it is too repetitive, and not enough crashes. I think they should be allowed, but not don't have full coverage on them all the time.

yeah, its just extreme sports that people want to watch. racing can be pretty extreme but its not that entertaining.
I think taking painfully huge beer shits on sunday mornings is pretty extreme, but I don't think I'd get much airtime for it on espn.

The X-games have lost their magic. It used to be the best platform for unknown and unpopular sports appealing to youth to get press and coverage. It went downhill when they took out the extreme shovel racing.
