oh man i feel you.
That was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. No joke. I woke up screaming and then was completely fucked up on drugs for 2 weeks. I reccomend lots of milkshakes and carnation instant breakfast. That shit saved me. I still ended up losing about 20 pounds. I dunno though i had the adnoids done too. Sounds like your doing a lot better than i did.

just force yourself to eat and drink. it'll suck, but when you are dead from not eating, it will suck worse.

I got my tonsils out freshman year of hs and it really wasnt that bad. I ate puddying and mashed food for a couple weeks and i dont really remember it hurting it was so long ago.
oh but when i got home from the hospital i took some codiene and almost puked it made me so nauseous along with the effect of the anesthesia that hadnt worn off all the way.

i got my tonsils out in like grade 3 and it I don't really remember it that much. To be honest the worst part is in the hospital the day you wake up cuz your throwing up blood and shit. But all it feels like when you get home is that your sick and you just eat ice cream and shit, its fun.

i loved having mine out. it was in like 5th grade and i never coughed up blood or any of that shit. i seriously ate ice cream, popsicles, and stuff like mashed potatoes all day. but mostly ice cream, i thought it was the best thing that happened dude.

my brother and me both got them out in elementary school. he was eating spaghetti like two days later while i sayed home on the couch for like 2 weeks. the medicine was horrendous, but him taking his def. affected his recovery time.

my bro got them out when he was like 4 and he got like 100000000 lbs of ice cream and wht not. It didn't seem so bad for him, maybe it gets worse as u get older?

I got mine out like 2 months ago. It hurts a shit ton and i had to wake up at all hours of the night to take pain killers just so I could sleep. Then my mom thought I took them too often so she dumped out an entire bottle and I had to suffer. Since my throat hurt so bad I didn't eat anything for two weeks aside from popsicles and ramen noodles. I lost 15 pounds haha
But now I never get sore throats or strep. Although it's only been a few months so we'll see how it goes.. You should watch movies that's the best solution

im kinda surprised. my friend who got them out said she couldn't like talk or do n e thing. i went out last night and everything . defects are its hard to swallow, i spit a lot and my tongue is kinda swollen so my teeth keep biting it and messin it up. i havent eaten anything tho cuz last time i did i threw it up so im just having chilled water for now.

I got them out yesterday and i m in hospital they make me drink a lot of tea and i get to eat ice cream but i d lovve eating a proper meal !! They gave me antibiotics and a lot of other painkillers so i think i ll be fine..but its sooo boring
