Replying to What to do?

so. i have no idea what i am doing with my life at the moment and cannot seem to find answers anywhere, so i come to newschoolers to see what you guys have to say. i am 20 years old, working a dead end job for the summer just to go back to school this fall in Farmington, Maine. I hate school, but figure its the best choice at this time. now i am thinking maybe work another month, try and sort a few things out like getting an appartment and maybe trying to find a few leads on jobs out in the slc area, and then moving out around september 1st or so. for the people who have just packed up and moved out, how easy is it to get settled? or is there a better area to try and get into besides slc that still offers good riding nearby? any help would be greatly appreciated. i just feel like i am wasting my money at school becuase i am really not getting anything out of it, so i figure why not just make a living out there and ride the good stuff for awhile, yaknow?
