ok so im thinking about painting my helmet, and yes i searchbared it but everyone just said sand it down then paint....and i would do that, but since i have a matte black bad lt. i dont think sand paper will have much effect?...maybe it will...and then does anyone else have any suggestions for which paint to use, and where to get it....because in the other threads i couldnt find any of the paints the reccommended
i did mine... i used just regular acrylic paint and a brush and like painted a design on the side after painting the whole thing a solid color with regular spray paint from wal-mart. id lightly sand it anyway just to make sure the paint will stick ok in all areas and then just spray paint it like you would anything else. then just get a clear coat (gloss or matte, whatever floats your boat) and spray a few layers of that on and youre ready to ride
i put tape all the way around my helmet where i didnt want paint to hit and then used spray paint. it came out dope. its a G9 MX ill sell it if anyones interested, its sick it has a matte black visor w/ a white helmet part.
