Boot fit question (yes I looked at the sticky)

When trying on new boots and you buckle it up all the way, should your heel be able to come up off the bottom of the boot at all? And your toes should still touch the end of the boot when you flex it forward right? Thanks.

Your heel shouldnt lift up much at all, maybe a centimeter at most. Less is better though. You should buckle them up as much as you would to ride them on the hill.
When you are standing straight up, you toe should be touching, if not, slightly away from the end. A proper fit suggests that you toe touches, but when your still growing, a bit of room cant hurt. Just dont buy too big.
When you lean forward, your toe should move away from the end and provide room.
Did that make sence?
