it was not a deck out, it was to the bottom of the transition.
seriously about 45 feet to basically flat, directly to tailbone. insane.
i want to know what type of pads he was wearing that he was talking and seemingly okay afterward. rediculous. you'll probably be able to youtube it pretty soon. do it.
Oh my fucking god. That reminds me of when I launched off a 20ft tall snowgun mound, looked out and saw the top of a telephone pole then landed on flat. I was 12.
someone is going to die on the mega ramp. That's how's it going to do down...I'm honestly in disbelief that Brown walked away from that. I'm shocked he is still with us. I was watching it on ESPN and I thought I had just watched someone die.
the youtube vid dosen't do it justice compared to TV. his shoe and something else just explode off him when he hits. i still can not believe that he was somewhat okay.
on a side note, he knew immediately and that couldn't have been a very fun 3 seconds.
dude, we're talking 40-50 feet to absolute flat on a rock hard surface. Snow at least has a bit of give, but either way both crashes are absolute gnar. He's lucky hes not paralyzed or dead
Because when you overshoot a jump, like Dumont's, you still have forward momentum which dissipates your impact. Jake Brown fell straight down, onto non snow.
That guy is made of titanium or some sort of shit, never seen something like that. He just absorbed all the impact with his hip. I dont know how he walks out smiling after that. I would have broken in 1000 pieces.
