In my opinion this guy has it right. Bush is an imperialist who is preaching rhetoric to get his way. But both the Republican and Democratic parties are too weak to do anything about it. Many people will call me a "Free love tooting weed smoke liberal-hippy" but the truth is I am fiscally conservative and a moderate in other areas. Anyway if found this article interesting and thing you should read and discuss it

no, most people here will probably agree with you, look at the dominant demographic, young, skiing, idealistic north americans that figure themselves doctors in political science and foriegn relations.. anywho. dont vote liberal before your 30 you dont have a heart, dont vote conservative after 30 you dont have a brain. dude, there's not one hippy on this site, or any website out there. all the real hippies that are left are out in the woods living in straw bail houses and living off their gardens and shit.

hippies do ski though or at least work as lift operators. theres one dude at my resort whos worked there as long as i can remember but hes high all the tme prettty funny but at the same time pretty sad

nah, you were right the first time. Hippys died with the summer of love, a long time ago. Hippys are extent. there may still be old folks around who were hippies and convey hippy like tendencies, but for the most part hippys are dead. and anyone born past 1975 is not a hippy, and never will be.
