Hey guys,
My 250GB external hard drive is full and it's time to go up to 500GB.
I wanted to see if any of you would be interested in purchasing it.. here are the details:
(1) 250 GB Western Digital 7200rpm SATA (3gbs)
(2) Silver external case with USB 2.0 to connect to pc (or mac)
I bought it last summer and it has been perfect since then.
I will need ~ 1 week before I could ship it out because I need to purchase a new one, and copy my data over. But, i should be able to ship it out next week if somebody is willing to buy it soon.
Price: $90 or best off
We can talk payment, but id like to go w/ PayPal if possible.
Thanks!!
Jason

does it have to plug into the wall to be powered, or only USB?

just keep it and still get the 500gb one too. And do you really need to go external? are you out of room for internals? cause internal is really the way to go. cheaper too.

no prob,
These usb powered drivers are a cool idea, but don't appear to be very ideal for editing and heavily usage.
The ones i've seen are 3600 rpms or 4200 rpms (wicked slow) and pretty small (< 100GBs). I guess this could be good for music or somethign like that but id imagine it's a power hog.

I have a laptop. I don't need the money in order to buy the 500, i'll buy it anyways...the issue is this:
I'm going to copy all my data over to the 500GB because it doesnt make sense to have 2 half filled external drives. Then it'll take me a few months to fill up the rest of the 500GB and the 250 will just be sitting there empty. Kind of a waste of a HD.
By the time my 500 fills, up be getting a 1TB driver or something. lulz

yea, I don't do editing or anything, I just need extra storage to keep music, downloaded movies/tv shows, and that kind of stuff.
good price on this one though.

I just recently bought a brand new 500 for $100. I personally think $90 is a bit steep. Try around $75 and somebody will most likely pick it up.

I'm sorta interested... I don't know that I have 90 bucks to drop on it right now though. However, it would make excellent housing for my extensive collection of porn.
... uh... I mean... music and movies and tv shows. Yeah.
