Pinella got kicked out of one game this year that i remember and that sparked the team to start winning. So if you want to see the Cubs win even more games than I'm all for it.

And to the person who said it took them 100 days to get to first. that is true but they are up there now and are gonna continue to run over the Brewers for the remainder of the season.

i believe that ramierez' home run was June 29th and Pinella getting ejected was June 2nd. and after june 2nd they went 5-2 in the next week. since that ejection they have went on to win 9 series, lost 4 and tied one series. it really doesn't matter cause they are playing well.

So are you trying to say that this is the first time since 1908 that they have been in 1st place? Cause if you are you are very mistaken. Hmm maybe 1986 when they almost won, they were in f1st at that point. How about 2003 when bartman fucked shit up and we didnt go to the World Series, yup we were in first at that point to. Im sure there have been at least 20 seasons that we have been in first place at one point or another.

 I figure its just like not eating all day on thanksgiving and then feasting when dinner comes. The day the cubs win the series is going to be the greatest day of my life bitches!!!! It will be worth the wait.

Oh and FUCK THE BREWERS AND THE YANKEES!!!

a bunch of fatasses play it? i dont even need to explain, just watch a game, and yeah theres the occasional big guy, but not a bunch of fatasses, and your saying its the least athletic, i guarantee you couldnt go step up to the plate against an average pitcher today and hit the ball, or make a play in the infield off a hard hit ground ball, im not trying to be an asshole, it just pisses me off about all the people out there that hate on baseball

babe ruth is the perfect example of how you dont have to be an athlete at all. he was fat, and didnt train didnt do anything and look how good he was. all you need is hand eye coordination, i play baseball pick up games with my friends who have been playing since they were about 5. and they arent much better than me, im sorry but you need no endurance, stamina, and dont have to be too fast either. it is highly overrated, where as sports like football, soccer, lax, basketball and stuff actually require athleticism.

ok dude....first off, SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

Second, Babe Ruth playes YEARS ago and yes he was a big guy. The game has completly changed over the last century. If the Babe were to play today he wouldnt be shit, because all the big stars now adays are incredible athletes. I guarantee that almost every player in the MLB is in better shape and a better athlete than you will ever dream of being.

that was so intelligent sounding. seriously dude they should be in better shape than i ever will be, i dont plan on being a professional athlete. that is obvious. but compare there athleticism to any other professional sports athlete, and oh wait they dont have any. football, soccer, lax, basketball, chess. yes even chess players are in better shape. im sorry, you probably wanted to be a pro baseball player until the coach broke your heart and told you you sucked. face it dude, baseball is one of the most pathetic sports out there. so please come back with a worthwhile argument besides saying:
