Neon green a-frames

I have a transworld snowboarding issue from the 05/06 season in which there is an add for salomon that has all of their team riders in it. The other day I noticed something interesting, one of the riders has on a pair of neon green A-Frames. Does anybody know anything about these, maybe they were just a prototype that was never put into production.
