Mounting Bindings

hey i just got the 04 Public Enemys size 159 and it hase a little arrow on the sidewall and it says mid-sole, but if i were to put my bindings there it would be more towards the back of the skis and i usually have my skis centerd, i was wondering what is better, centered or back a little, please help me figure out where to mount my binding, thanks alot, peace.

Back father is better for riding over the whole mountain, further forward is better for rails and jumping.


Mount them a little forward, like +2,3 or 4. You probaly wont be able to tell the difference when you're skiing on them anyways. I think Gutt said that the team riders rode them anywhere from +2 to +4...

alittle back is better all around...no one truely only skis park and pipe only...so i'd go a little back

My Pistols were mounted 1 forward. There should be little marks above and below the arrow to indicate back or forward mounting. I work at Freds up in killington and rule of thumb is we never mount them anymore then +3 forward without a concent form cause it messes with the ski dynamics. Basically the range of -3...MID...+3 is where the ski will turn easily. Anything else and your starting to use the ski in ways it wasnt meant to be used
