When its 90 outside, how desperate are you to go skiing?

Im doing an internship in Beijing this summer. I just found out that there is an indoor ski place here that apparently has a mini-park (one mini table and a box). It's like $100 a day. Im trying to decide if Im desperate enough to go. Would you do it? the slope is literally like 300m long, 10 stories high.

i dont think i would for 100$. i mean im desperate but that is way to much money for a tiny place like that. just save up for a sick trip some place in the winter or something

Well, is that 100 dollars including rental skis, boots, bindings, are they all decent enough boots/bindings/skis that you would be comforatable hitting their mini table?

snow from the ice rinks is free...at least it is when your tight wit the guys that work there.

just wait til night and go grab you bout 4 truck loads of snow and shaved ice and set you up a little urban assult

put the 100 back in your pocket or better yet just use it for beer or cigars or somethin

its non-paid. but I got $3000 from my school for this to cover plane ticket and living expenses. crappy beer is mad cheap. like literally 20 cents for a bottle thats about 1.5x the size of a beer back in the states. at clubs, the equivilant of $4 for an import beer, which I consider overpriced.

but yeah, the clubs are getting kinda boring. although most of the girls here have amazing bodies and dress real nice, they are total butterfaces. Also, prostitutes are amazing dancers, just dont go home with them.

thats why I might actually have to go. I mean its actually closer to $130 with the shitty rentals and everything. but I am just that desperate and I need something to remind me of home. McDonald's just doesnt cut it anymore.

my uncle did that indoor skiing shit he says its really weird. alost as if you are playing that one old school skiing game but instead of dodging trees and shit ur dodging little yellow ppl, and if u hit the wall you die

id pay whatevers in my wallet to go right now(ehh 180 bucks)

paying 100 bucks to session a box and kicker is a little redic but tottally worth it. just dont blow your rent money on it. skiings worse than any drug.

This thread inspired my dream last night.  I dreamt that there was this wicked tiny mountain nearby that somehow had snow and was open in august, and me and my friends drove there and were getting ready to ski and everything when I woke up.  Just thought you should know that.
