know people who work for the airlines and can get you half priced airfare to either Vancouver (preferable) or Seattle. you're more than likely not going to get discounts direct from them, but you can on transportation.

its 1500 miles just drive, or you could just drive to hood which is less and ride the public park for 4 days or so and camp for free.

Hood's public park is probably better than Whistler's. Whistler's public park is really bad. Like bad bad. But well... do they do charter flights from Col to Vancouver?

I doubt you're gonna get a discount at a camp like that, unless you know a pro, and even then, I don't think you'll get a discount (for the camp). You might get to ride the park for a day if you knew a pro well though (so, I guess you should go get to know a few pros, eh? :P ) . Probably easier to get discounts on transportation.
Anyways, have you checked what the prices would be transportation wise? Flights are around $500+ dollars, I believe.

I guess there's no real way to save money, 'less you drive, but if you only wanna take a week, then its probably not the best option. Let's see.... get a better job? ;)
