This is the million dollar question I ask Blake everyday we ski together. Damn, it's gotta be cold.

well Nordica will have a couple skis with that coming out soon however I highly doubt Surface and Nordica are working together to come up with the same technology. Both companies decided to put this out on their own

Having skimmed through this post I"ve found nothing inteligent in it and am not going to waste my time reading it through well.
One thing that is absolutly ridiculously obvious and is pissing me off that nobody pointed it out after your first post is that there are plenty of skis that have similar dimensions and that there is way more to how a ski rides than the dimensions. If all that mattered to skis where the dimentions what would be the difference between the Nordica Blowers and the Line Elizabeths? I mean both have a 110 waist right?

all i was trying to point out was that surfaces aren't that "different"...the whole motif/theme of the concept of surface.
i'd say the majority of how a ski rides depends on its dimensions, especailly if two skis are not extremely diff flexes. aren't lizzes and blower more simialr than pipecleaners and blowers?
whatever, i'm sick of debating it. and yes the majority of skis on the market are extremely similar.

I think if your applying icy hot to your balls every morning its time to start sacraficing your hienous fashion for function.

Surface has never, ever claimed to have some innovative new ski that will suck your balls while you ski. They however do claim that they are just trying to bring something fresh to skiing, just like 9ward is with their cript/blood marketing strategy. It's something new guys, something other than Atomic, Rossi, Dynastar, Solomon...that's it...if you don't like something new than stay in the current stagnant state you are currently existing in.
Regardless, we all need to have AND show respect for companies like Surface & Ninthward because it's damn hard to start a company of kind, let alone manufacturing skis overseas. Those who have the balls and motivation to do it deserve some respect.
Out.

it is a joke... if one were to apply icy hot ointment to their testicular region the last thing in the world said person would want to do is go skiing!
it is a pin far greater than any peson should ever have to endure!
my tight pants are pretty warm i rock them on all but the coldest of days!

I agree with 50% of your post. Surface is fresh.
9thward is bunk. Terrible customer service and and trust fund do not constitute "balls" or "motivation."

why do people on this board fear change in skiing
no poles, omg

we should accept change because it shows how this sport is growing

hey you. too bad ninthward is hooking christopher honeywell and tom mckay up, there pants are anything but baggy...last time i checked ninthward doesn't give a fuck about peoples fashion tastes and looks at the talent of people. surface sponsors people for fashion, what kind of a fucking joke is that?
also ninthward didn't play the blame game at all! i don't know where the fuck you got that from. do you see them trying to back that shit up? no. that's why no one knows about it and claims that they just suck at business!
and surface guys, you always say you don't care what people think about you and how it doesn't matter, well how come every single post every single member of the team backs them up until their fingers are too sore to type.

wow you quoted me in your signature....i want my royalties!
surface used ninthward's molds? are you really that naive and believe everything campbell tells you?
how is it that surface used their molds and they were able to deliver skis and the kids who threw down for some sick as fuck ninths are still waiting.....
surface owns the molds for all of their skis... jordan judd created those shapes they are nobody but surfaces!

i wear floppy hats holden jackets and jeans when i ski most of the time i dont use poles .....for that hate all you want i dont care what you have to say abbout my style!
my point is surface has done an awesome job at designing building and DELIVERING amazing skis! nobody can take that away or say otherwise!
there is no doubt in my mind they will be around for a long long time! and that we will shortly see a lot of really really good shit that the kids want.

If that were true then every one of their riders would ski with tight pants. Even then, they don't.
Your argument is based on opinionated bias and with that you have voided yourself.

Bah Bah mothafukas.
No but seriously, I was considering buying a pair of Thwards or Surfaces this year, both companies I could put my money into. All of this is just making it pointless.
Armada still exists, thank the lord baby jesus above.

I gotta say that the more ski companies out there the better. More models, more shapes, more sizes only lead to more unique styles and a truly unique expression of identity on the mountain. I've got to credit both 9th and Surface for stepping into the ring and facing the manufacturing giants with 1/1000th the budget and producing skis with which skiers from all walks of life are hopping on and loving. I have to give Surface some extra credit though for being good to their customers and for getting some sick people. Slandis is sick and Adam Clark is an amazing photographer. These guys are assembling a crew to do some insane things.

is this post a joke? Seriously I wouldn't be all that surprised if there was some very strong yet pretty well hidden sarcasm in here because you start off telling people they're just making assumptions about 9th, then instantly go off making the exact same (completly false) assumptions about surface

Matt, I like you even though you're tall as hell and i've seen you wearing tight ass home-sewn pants and Airblaster shit. I didn't think you were the type of guy that liked to cause problems either. Enjoy those '89 Vish, and don't let your pals brainwash you too much.
