So I'm sitting there, at sierra snowboard's $199 ski liquidation sale, with the perfect skis in my shopping cart. I changed pages for 1 second, didn't even close the first page, flip back, and their gone. gone. SOLD THE **** OUT! Why did anyone else have to decide to buy them? bummer.

hahaha i was checking out the site when that happened, i refreshed and im like shit dude. i called evogear earlier and they said a bunch of people were calling about the prophet 90s

Depends on whether you're talking about the regular old Gun, or the Gun LAB.
Both are great skis (and I'm surprised I'm saying this, cause I typically take a firm stance against Salomon skis)...@ 188 I believe that both the regular Gun and the LAB variation are 101 underfoot, so a bit wider than the Prophet...they are also noticably lighter, but lack the Metal Matrix that the Prophet has. The Gun LAB has a wood core and is quite durable, and stiff, maybe not quite as stiff as the Prophet, but I'm not sure on that...the regular Gun, while still being a nice ski, uses an iso-cell composite core, and therefore, the flex is very lively, but the material breaks down faster than wood does. You really can't go wrong here, they are all great skis, just depends on what you want it to do and the characteristics you prefer in your skis.
