Does anyone know of a program that I can use to take footage off a camera? I would use imovie, but in order to do that, it needs to connect via a firewire cable, which this camera does not have.

yeah go drop $1200 to upload some video. that sounds like a plan. but seriusly there is no point to uploading video on a USB it will take days.

if your camera doesnt have firewire, you wont actually beable to get the video on there to the best of my knowledge, i tried fcp, premiere, imovie etc all for mac. i just had to get a camera that had fire wire to beable to get my clips loaded up. Do you know someone w/ a pc? maybe load your clips on there, burn them on dvds/ or put them on an external and take them to your mac then!
