Fuck Best Buy

Okay, this is long but whatever.

So im up north with my mom and sister. My dad stayed home cause of work. He calls me and asks if i would like to work at best buy, i say yes, 10$an hour for cashiers. So yesterday, i go to bb and meet Amy, thegirl my dad talked to. Shes really nice and gives me a first interview with her. It went really well and she then scheduled and second one for today at 1. It was gonna be with mike, the head guy there and she said hed like me. So i go today and i had to write another application. After waiting for half an hour, theres still no sign of mike. so i was starting to get fed up, next, this guy comes, sort of creepy. he basically has the interview with me, then looks at my online application and in the end, doesnt give me the job! He told me i didnt answer the questions right, and if any of you have ever done it, its psychologically retarded. they ask if you ever lie, do you always tell the truth, like c'mon fuck.

now,i know you dont always get what you want, but this is fucked. even worse, my friend that works there saw me waiting and i told him it was my second interview and he told me i basically had the job.

so there you go, i was supposed to be interviewed by mike, i didnt, and then didnt get it.

haha the online application is so fuckin long.  i did it so it looked like i was trying to get a job, and the questions all repeated themselves later on.  plus it took like a half hour to just answer the pages of questions

damn that sucks, interviews are stressful usually.  I hate the way big corporations hire to, they ask really personal questions that catch you off guard.  I applied at Wal-Mart once (didnt get the job, i didnt  want to work their anyway, this was in high school) and they ask if you have ever stolen anything, and I thought being honest would probably be better and I marked down that I had stolen 5-10$ worth of shit when I was younger (doesnt every young kid steal shit at some point lol?). Later I realized that its better to just lie to them and answer all their questions how they want to hear it.

i could never stand working at best buy. last time i went there to shop for something they had like 8 different songs playing all at once overlapping through each department, needless to say i got a crazy headache in 10 minutes. if you worked there you would have to deal with that bullshit, so your better off dude.

hahahaha dude dont answer the questions normal. act as if your the most perfect person ever. its pretty much the only way youll get the job. answer the questions knowing that they will be reading them later. and yes those stupid question sheets are soooo dumb.

yep thats all there is too it. unfortunatly a ton of big retail places use these stupid "honesty test" type things and if you fuck it up they dont care about anything else you have to say. ive had to take 4 or 5 so far in my life and theyre all the same, just tell them what they want to hear and make sure to be consistent when they ask the same questions but rephrased. i actually applied at best buy a few years ago and they made me take the online test before they gave me any interviews, but my best buy is cheap as hell and only pays cashiers 8.25/hr last i heard.

I work in a really posh supermarket. Interview was a piece of piss. i said almost nothing but 'erm' and 'ahh' for ha;f an hour and they gave me a job behind the kiosk. I stand and daydream 16 hours a week for £72 ($144)

that blows. i didnt get a job at this one place cuz they looked at my license and saw the big hole in the center of it....then said it was invalid so i couldnt work there cuz of my I.D.....buhahahahahahah
